Egbert developed a fascination for craftsmanship at an early age. Raised among the scent of sawdust in his father's workshop, a place dedicated to the creation of luxurious yacht interiors, he became intimately familiar with precision, fine finishes and the use of noble materials.
His education at the Hout- en Meubileringscollege laid the foundation for his technical insight and refined material knowledge. This expertise was further honed through his work with various high-end interior houses and in the world of exclusive yacht interiors, where exactitude and sophistication are essential.
His transition to residential projects introduced a new dimension: designing living environments that resonate both aesthetically and personally. At Flexform Amsterdam he met Zoë, marking the beginning of a rich and creative collaboration.
Egbert is known for his impeccable sense of proportion, bespoke detailing and spatial composition. His approach is thoughtful and understated; never led by fleeting trends, but always guided by a pursuit of essence. With a refined eye and innate understanding of people, he creates interiors that are not only visually striking, but also imbued with calm, elegance and timeless depth.

From an early age, Zoë felt a natural affinity with interior design, a calling that led her instinctively toward a creative and intellectually rich path. She completed her studies at the Jan des Bouvrie College and further refined her distinctive design language at the Artemis Academy, where she specialised in Allround Styling. Her experience with renowned names such as Flexform and Molteni Amsterdam has given her a deep and multifaceted understanding of the high-end interior design world.
Zoë merges her expertise in colour, texture and materiality with an exceptional sense of spatial composition and visual balance. What sets her apart is not only her finely tuned aesthetic sensibility, but also her structured and imaginative approach to project management.
From the very first material selection to the precise coordination of logistics and timelines, Zoë oversees every detail with confidence, clarity and exacting precision. Her method is layered, bold and intelligent, resulting in interiors that are both visually compelling and flawlessly executed.
